Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

a)    During this month also the diamond Jubilee Celebrations at Branch continued.

• Executive Committee of Ludhiana Branch attended the ICAI National Leadership & Yog Camp at Haridwar.
• A Seminar on The Ultimate Secret to Absolute Success – Communication Skills was organized at ICAI Bhawan Auditorium. Mr. Asit Ghosh was the guest speaker on the occasion.
• On 23-03-2009 Seminar on Bank Branch Audit was organized at ICAI Bhawan Auditorium. CA. Ajay Jain & CA. Naveen Khandelwal was the guest speaker on the occasion.

CPE Programmes

• 2 Hrs CPE Seminar organized on The Ultimate Secret to Absolute Success – Communication Skills. Mr. Asit Ghosh was the guest speaker. About 150 Chartered Accountants attended the seminar.
• 4 Hrs. CPE Seminar on Bank Branch Audit organized on 23-03-2009. CA. Ajay Jain & CA. Naveen Khandelwal was the guest speaker on the occasion. More than 400 Chartered Accountants attended the Seminar.

Submission of Accounts
Statement

The branch had submitted with Head office monthly Trial Balance and stock statement as on 28.02.09 with the Accounts Department, as required
For timely submission of Balance Sheet for the F.Y. 2008-09, all the books completed and tallied.

Submission of Stock Statement

Complete detail of Publication Stock and others stocks as on 28.02.09 was submitted to the head office.

During the month of Feb 2009, Branch took the initiative and returned/destroyed obsolete books worth Rs 5.50lac with consent of stores at HO.

Regular Student Coaching Classes.

Regular coaching classes for the PCC students are going on.

New batch of CPT Coaching Classes started during the month about 50 students are taking part in the same.

ITT Training

Two New batches for ITT training started during the month.

Branch Newsletter

Branch Newsletter for the month of February was duly sent to all Members. The Newsletter was also sent on electronic mode to the members, students and to various dignitaries of the City.

Branch regularly updating Members / Students with its website and SMS Facility.

The management committee took the initiative and updated the addresses of the members so that branch communication can reach them at the earliest.

Other Activities

During this month lots of new activities start.

• List of Library Books with the Ludhiana Branch was uploaded on Ludhiana website (i.e. www.icailudhian.org).
• Ludhiana Branch Introduced Student Help Desk at the branch, where the problems of students are addressed.
  
• A notice Board was placed in the Branch where the branch activities are displayed by way of photographs of various events of Branch.

• During the month Complaint/feedback receipt and redresal mechanism was put in place at the Branch.
